With Meg Strahle

With a decade worth of education and experience across the events, hospitality and tourism industry in the USA, UK and Australia, I have taken my passion for sustainability to join The Bulb in 2021 as the newest Sustainability Advisor. I have worked on a variety of projects including creating the sustainability strategy for an interactive experience at COP26, supporting a global ISO certification process and producing the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion strategy to drive social sustainability for the Opening and Closing Ceremonies for the Birmingham Commonwealth Games.

With my extensive background across a range of events and research (MSc, MA & MRes), including the recent research project at the University of Exeter to investigate how sustainable events can aid sustainable tourism to Cornwall, you will usually find me knee deep in research or thinking up ideas on how to best guide clients on their sustainability journey and talking about the importance of inclusion and accessibility.
