The way we work has changed, but the way we measure work hasn’t. The eight-hour day is still standard practice, even though very few of us are doing eight hours of focused, productive work. We’re not clocking in at a factory or manning the phones in a 1990s...
As a senior recruitment specialist, I’m sharing my latest insights into the shifting recruitment landscape, drawn from ongoing conversations with agency owners, hiring managers, and senior industry leaders across the events and experiential sectors. With economic...
McDonald’s and ASOS are just two of the high-profile brands that have recently stepped back from targeted EDI recruitment strategies, and we’re starting to see this shift ripple into the events industry. But while it might look like EDI is losing ground, the truth is...
The four-day week is coming whatever your thoughts on it. Over 200 UK companies have already signed up to it, employees want it, and industries from finance to tech are making it work. But in the events industry? We still think we’re too ‘always on’ to even consider...

Something exciting is happening…
After ten incredible years building my own business, July marks the start of an exciting new chapter.
I’ve joined forces with Disrupt Talent to create Disrupt Search, a specialist executive search business dedicated to helping event industry organisations recruit exceptional senior leaders.
Whilst my website is being updated, I wanted to reassure clients, candidates and industry friends that I’m very much still here, doing what I’ve always done, just with even greater support, resources and ambition behind me.
The consultative approach that has become synonymous with my work hasn’t changed. If anything, it’s become even stronger. I still believe that finding a person is the easy part. The real value comes from understanding where a business is heading, shaping the role around that future and identifying the leader who will make the biggest long-term impact.
Joining the Disrupt family allows me to do that on a bigger scale while remaining true to everything I’ve built over the last decade.
If you’d like to discuss an upcoming leadership hire, explore executive search or simply catch up, I’d love to hear from you.
